START TIMES:

10:05 a.m. (all events) Chilly Half Marathon Run & Half Marathon Walk* Frosty 5K Run

*Note: Half Marathon walkers must keep one foot on ground at all times.

(There will be a maximum race time of 3:15 for the Half Marathon Run and Walk, and 50 minutes for the 5K.)

BAGGAGE CHECK:

Baggage check will available race morning at the Burlington Performing Arts Centre beginning at 8:00 a.m.

REGISTRATION:

• All half marathoners will receive a finishing medal.

• First 4,200 half marathoners to register receive a FREE men’s or women’s technical running jacket.

• First 1,000 registrants for Frosty 5K receive a FREE short sleeve technical T-shirt.

PASTA PARTY:

Celebrate our 19th race year on Saturday, March 1 from 4 - 6 p.m. with the Pasta Party at Paradiso Restaurant, located at Pine and Elizabeth Streets in the Village Square.

The cost for the Pasta Party is only $35.00 (with tax and gratuity); includes salad, choice of homemade pasta, dessert, along with entertainment and special guest speakers. The Pasta Party at Paradiso Restaurant is open to everyone, but there is a 120 person limit, so you must register early. To purchase Pasta Party tickets click here.

ACCOMMODATIONS:

VR PRO has partnered with the Burlington Hotel Association to offer 2014 Chilly Half Marathon & Frosty 5K participants special discounted rates on accommodations in the Burlington area. More information and a listing of participating hotels will be posted soon.

SHUTTLE BUS SERVICE:

Free shuttle bus service will be available on race day. Shuttle bus schedule and departure times will be listed here and will also be posted at the expo. Please check back.

PACE BUNNIES FOR CHILLY:

The Running Room will provide Pace Bunnies for the 2014 Chilly Half Marathon. Check back for details.

ON COURSE:

There will be 6 aid stations along the half marathon course and all will offer both water and eload. There will also be gels at the 3rd and 5th stations.

POST-RACE PARTY:

Post-Race Chili Party sponsored by Stagg Chili & Carslberg -

Stagg Chili and Carlsberg Beer will be served post-race in and around Burlington (many locations are very close to the finish).
